Dr. H. Scott Mortensen, O.D., M.S.
Dr. Scott Mortensen was born
and raised in South East Idaho where he helped take care of his
family's farm and ranch. He was very involved and excelled in South
Fremont's sporting programs all through high school. He attended Ricks
Junior College where he played basketball for the Vikings. He served a 2
year LDS mission in the Los Angeles area in Southern California where
he learned to speak fluently in the Spanish language. Upon returning
from California, Dr. Mortensen finished his Bachelor and Master degree
in Zoology from Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, UT in 1977.
Dr. Scott Mortensen received his optometric education from the Southern
California College of Optometry (SCCO) from 1977 to 1981. He received
exceptional optometric training in diagnosing, treating, and managing
ocular conditions/diseases (such as macular degeneration, glaucoma,
diabetic retinopathy, keratoconus, strabismus, amblyopia, etc) from: | | |
